About Us:
Nortek Powder Coating LLC is a growing manufacturer and supplier of high-quality powder coatings. We pride ourselves on friendly service, reliability, and taking care of our customers and team. We’re looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Production Worker to join our crew and help keep our operations running smoothly.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Provide production support in the manufacturing of powder coating
· Read and interpret production formulas and instructions
· Load raw materials into various machines
· Perform visual color inspection of finished products
· Evaluate and test various coating properties for accuracy and quality control
· Package and sort finished products
· Assist in pre- and post-shift inspections of equipment
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment
·Be able to learn and help fill in where production help is needed
EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:
· Able to walk and stand for most of the workday
· Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds repeatedly
· Able to work in a fast-paced environment
· Able to operate heavy machinery such as grinders, mixers, extruders
· Able to perform basic math
· Experience operating a fork-lift is a plus
· Powder coating experience is a plus but not required
· High School Diploma
