Human Resources Coordinator

Director of Human Resources
As a Human Resources Coordinator at Norrell Construction, Inc., you will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the HR department. This role requires a blend of HR expertise including recruiting, onboarding, HRIS, and a strong understanding of the industrial sector to effectively working with managers and assisting with employee relations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong ethics, and the ability to multi-task and handle complex situations.

REQUIRED: 2+ years of experience in a Human Resource Role.

Proven experience in human resources roles.

Hands-on experience with HRIS systems such as ADP.

Experienced with Sharepoint, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Office.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities within a fast-paced environment while demonstrating strategic planning capabilities.

This is an onsite role.

Must have a valid Drivers License.
What You Will Be Doing:

Ensure compliance with all internal and external record keeping requirements, with emphasis on accurate reporting.

Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR Department.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee personnel records, both electronic and paper.

Assist with filing, scanning, copying, data entry, and other general HR administrative functions.

Assist with maintaining HR calendars, tracking deadlines, and monitoring outstanding HR items.

Manage multiple email inboxes.

Respond to routine employee questions and direct more complex questions to the appropriate HR team member.

Assist with employee communications, HR announcements, and distribution of HR materials.

Support employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and other HR initiatives as assigned.

Provide administrative support for coordination of meetings and HR events.

Assist with new hire onboarding and ensure required employment documentastion is completed accurately and timely.

Contacting references and perform background checks.

Assisting with new employee orientation.
-
Track company property, access, and other items associated with employee onboarding and separation as needed.

Assist with Special Projects.

Informing applicants about position details, including working conditions, benefits and duties.
