Our ideal candidate is personable, committed to cultivating an excellent rapport with every client, and has experience with varied physical conditions treatable with massage therapy.
Responsibilities:-
Meet with each client to discuss any problems with stress or pain, and advise on types of massage and treatment
- Provide added value to client’s with suggestions for stretching, strengthening, stress relief, and overall wellness maintenance
- Ensure client needs are met safely using the therapeutic massage technique that corresponds with their needs
- Recommend additional products or services that may benefit the client
- Prepare the massage table and necessary products to apply to the client’s skin
Qualifications:-
Must be excellent at communication and interpersonal relationships
- Massage therapy program completion preferred
- Proficiency in therapeutic massage techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, and reflexology
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Licensure must comply with state and local laws and regulations
- Prenatal experience, training, or willingness to learn to work on this demographic in a family practice setting.
