Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas, ensuring adherence to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicing tools safely and efficiently
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza flavors and toppings based on customer preferences and seasonal ingredients
- Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitizing procedures throughout all stages of food handling and preparation
- Execute food production tasks including dough kneading, topping assembly, baking, and finishing touches with precision
- Manage high-volume pizza orders during peak hours while maintaining consistency and presentation excellence
- Support the culinary team with food preparation tasks such as braising, poaching, grilling, and other cooking techniques as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, particularly with pizza or similar cuisine preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures in a commercial kitchen setting
- Demonstrated skills in food handling, knife techniques, and recipe adherence for consistent product quality
- Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and catering operations is a plus
- Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, slicers, and other culinary tools
- Ability to work efficiently in high-volume production environments while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills combined with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
