Responsibilities include:
- High proficiency in a variety of power and hand tools, woodworking machinery, and maintenance setup.
- Experience installing high end cabinets
- Knowledgeable of millwork and finish carpentry techniques. Metal fabrication or upholstery experience a bonus.
- Ability to problem solve through complicated Millwork installs
- Responsible for maintaining a clean workplace environment in compliance with company policy.
- Follows production schedule and performs all work in accordance with Company quality, security, safety plans, procedures, and standards.
- Performs all work in accordance with Company standards and safety requirements: Wears required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, and optional PPE such as hearing and breathing protection depending on tasks being performed.
- Ability to read shop drawings
- Trims component parts of joints to ensure snug fit, using hand tools such as planes, chisels, or wood files.
- May install hardware, such as hinges, catches, and drawer pulls.
- May assist others with daily tasks , techniques, and jobs.
- Uses machinery in a proper and safe manner.
- May act as lead on smaller individual projects as needed.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisorQualifications include:
- Must be able to work in a production facility with/without air conditioning and with production noise and dust.
- Must have own transportation and tools
- Must be willing to work occasional overtime as required.
- Capable of lifting or moving up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis, 25 pounds on a constant basis, and standing for long periods of time
- Must have at least 3 or more years in millwork and/or finish carpentry, prefer 5 years.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
