Our business combines AI-powered client intake, advanced marketing, proprietary technology, and operational systems with experienced legal representation. We are seeking an experienced Arizona attorney to serve as our firm's Compliance Lawyer while helping build one of the nation's leading property insurance litigation firms.
Position Overview
We are seeking an active Arizona-licensed attorney to serve as the firm's Compliance Lawyer as required by the Arizona Supreme Court's ABS regulations.
The ideal candidate has experience handling first-party property insurance claims, bad faith litigation, insurance contract breach, coverage disputes, or civil litigation and is excited to help build a rapidly growing law firm.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the firm's designated Compliance Lawyer.
- Ensure compliance with Arizona Rules of Professional Conduct and ABS regulations.
- Supervise attorneys practicing under Arizona Practice Pending Admission when applicable.
- Oversee legal quality control and ethical compliance.
- Handle property insurance litigation, negotiations, mediations, and lawsuits.
- Review pleadings, demand packages, and litigation strategy.
- Assist with developing legal workflows and best practices.
- Work closely with executive leadership to scale firm operations.
Preferred Experience
- Active member in good standing with the Arizona State Bar.
- 5+ years of litigation experience preferred.
- Experience with one or more of the following:
- Property insurance litigation
- Insurance bad faith
- Coverage disputes
- Fire, water, wind, hail, or catastrophe losses
- Construction litigation
- Civil litigation
- Trial experience is a plus.
- Leadership or supervising attorney experience preferred.
