Job Summary
At Seasons of Life, we are seeking a Direct Care Professional to support and engage our residents in the day time hours. Your role ensures safety, comfort, and connection when residents need it most.
Responsibilities
- Managed Care: Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Hoyer Lift Operation: Safely and efficiently operate a Hoyer Lift for resident transfers (training provided).
- Meal Preparation: Assist with evening meals and snacks.
- Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Resident Engagement
- Medication Administration: Accurately administer medications according to prescribed schedules and document activities.
- Personalize: Encourage and support social activities, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Reliability and compassion in caring for vulnerable populations.
- Ability to follow medical and care protocols.
- Willingness to learn and operate medical equipment (training provided).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required.
