POSITION SUMMARY
The Applications & Integrations Specialist is responsible for the maintenance, support and training of all clinical applications utilized enterprise wide. This would include all integrations of acquired medical groups by supporting the organization through the complex and transformative process of post-merger integration. This role would have input into the direction, development, design, and maintenance of our systems. This will include integrations across multiple platforms from definition phase through implementation to achieve best-in-class, timely, and successful integrations post-acquisition. The goal is the creation of structured, standard tools, processes and reporting to drive efficient, scalable operations throughout our existing organizational infrastructure as well as future M&A integration activity. Expectation to work in close collaboration with a cross functional team of subject matter experts within various Unio departments.
Looking for SoCal residents! Travel will be required to our CA locations as needed
Candidates should have experience providing go-live support, training and mentoring end users, and performing data migration in a healthcare environment
What you will be doing
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, eliminate redundancies, embrace best practices, and enhance operational efficiency across acquired medical groups.
- Support the clinical application team and integration projects, including but not limited to, participating in team meetings, tracking progress, follow-up communications and reporting.
- Support all operational workstream leads and their respective teams to develop and adapt comprehensive and appropriately detailed operational metrics, outlining key milestones, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Maintain transparent and consistent communication with employees, leadership, and external partners.
- Participate in the development of key success metrics to evaluate application performance and integration planning and execution.
- Participate and guide day-to-day clinical applications support, training, and documentation for newly acquired medical practices.
What you will bring to the team
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business or a related field
- 5+ years of experience working on large-scale, cross-functional programs and projects focused on all phases of integration planning and execution in the context of M&A.
- Familiarity with diverse Practice Management and EMR systems strongly preferred.
- Experience with Athena and GMed highly preferred
