American Traveler is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist for a multi-specialty surgery center position, requiring travel experience and CST certification.

Ambulatory surgery center and community hospital setting supporting general, urology, GYN, ENT, orthopedic, plastics, and spine/neuro procedures
-
Utilizes Da Vinci Xi robotic surgical system for urology, GYN, and general surgery cases
-
Ophthalmology experience preferred
-
Day shift schedule with variable hours (4x10, 6:45am-5:15pm or 8:30am-7:00pm)

On-call requirement from 4:45pm-11:00pm

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist required

Prior travel assignment experience required

BLS certification preferred

CST certification required
-
CA state license required if applicable

Experience in gynecologic, orthopedic, general, urologic, plastics, and spine/neuro surgical procedures preferred

Skilled in aseptic technique, sterile processing, and instrument handling

Support surgical teams across a wide range of specialties including GYN, urology, ENT, orthopedics, plastics, and spine/neuro surgery

Maintain sterile fields and assist with instrument and equipment preparation for diverse case types

Participate in Universal Protocol time-out procedures and specimen handling

Adhere to isolation precautions, PPE, and radiation/laser safety protocols

First-time travelers will not be considered for this role due to experience requirements

Returning staff or travelers must have a minimum 1-year separation before reapplying

Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, with only 1 holiday request permitted per contract

Local candidates accepted at the local rate

Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius to qualify for travel rate

Lab work must be completed within 3-5 days of contract signing
