We are seeking a professional and personable Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. This role is vital in delivering exceptional guest experiences, managing night-time operations, and ensuring smooth hotel functioning during overnight hours. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, hotel management knowledge, and the ability to handle guest relations with professionalism and efficiency. Bilingual abilities and experience in hospitality management are highly valued to enhance guest interactions and operational effectiveness.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures using multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette standards
- Manage guest inquiries, reservations, and special requests with a focus on guest satisfaction and hospitality excellence
- Conduct night audit procedures to reconcile daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in billing and reporting
- Maintain guest records, update reservation systems, and ensure data confidentiality
- Handle guest complaints or issues promptly, providing solutions that uphold the hotel’s reputation for superior service
- Monitor security protocols during overnight hours to ensure guest safety and property integrity
- Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to address guest needs efficiently
- Perform administrative tasks related to front desk operations, including managing multi-line phone systems and guest communications
Qualifications
- Prior experience in hotel management, front desk operations, or hospitality is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and guest services excellence
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist a diverse clientele
- Knowledge of night audit procedures and hotel management systems is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and handling multi-line phone systems
- Ability to work overnight shifts reliably, demonstrating flexibility and professionalism
- Hospitality management background or hotel experience is a plus but not required for entry-level candidates
