Job Summary
Synergen Rx is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This role is primarily responsible for preparing and packaging prescription orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with all pharmacy standards.

Responsibilities
- Prepare prescription orders for pharmacist verification
- Accurately count, fill, and package medications for shipping and delivery
- Coordinate outbound orders for pick up, local delivery, and shipping
- Maintain inventory by stocking, labeling, and organizing medications
- Perform routine cleaning and sterilization of pharmacy surfaces and equipment
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, safety protocols, and quality standards
- Coordinate with pharmacy staff to prioritize urgent shipments, especially for critical care or acute care patients.
- Ensure proper storage conditions during packaging and shipping processes to preserve medication efficacy.
Requirements
- Pharmacy Technician License with GA Board of Pharmacy
- Proven experience as pharmacy technician
- Experience with an online prescription system is a plus
- Experience with pharmacy dispensing automation is a plus
- Knowledge of medication and dosage measurement
- Knowledge of pharmacy law and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Reliable with a keen eye for detail
