Position Summary
Dockery Group is seeking a highly organized, motivated Administrative & Operations Coordinator to support the President and assist with day-to-day office and project administration.
This is a hands-on position requiring strong organization, time management, initiative, and follow-through. Responsibilities will vary from administrative support and project coordination to document management, phone calls, emails, applications, and miscellaneous business tasks.
Construction and bookkeeping experience are not required.
ResponsibilitiesAdministrative Support
· Assist the President with daily administrative tasks and follow-up.
· Help manage and organize emails and correspondence.
· Make and return business phone calls.
· Track outstanding tasks and follow up until completed.
· Schedule appointments, meetings, inspections, and other activities.
· Complete forms, applications, and general paperwork.
· Prepare basic correspondence and documents.
· Research information as needed.
· Assist with occasional business-related errands.
Office & Business Administration
· Handle business licenses, registrations, renewals, and similar requirements.
· Set up vendor, utility, and other business accounts.
· Organize and maintain company records.
· Scan and electronically file documents.
· Maintain necessary physical files and records.
· Assist in transitioning company records and processes to a primarily electronic system.
· Help maintain organized electronic folders and document-management systems.
· Coordinate paperwork and information with bookkeeping/accounting as needed.
Project Coordination
· Assist Project Managers and Superintendents with administrative project needs.
· Complete water meter, utility, permit, and similar applications.
· Communicate with cities, counties, utility companies, vendors, and other agencies.
· Track applications, permits, approvals, inspections, and other outstanding items.
· Coordinate required paperwork and payments.
· Assist with project startup and closeout documentation.
· Follow up on administrative project items to ensure they are completed on time.
General Operations
· Handle miscellaneous administrative and operational tasks as assigned.
· Coordinate with vendors and service providers.
· Order supplies and materials as needed.
· Pick up or deliver documents, checks, or other business items when necessary.
· Assist with special projects.
· Identify outstanding items and take initiative to get them completed.
Qualifications
· Strong organizational and time-management skills.
· Excellent attention to detail.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
· Self-motivated with strong follow-through.
· Comfortable making phone calls and communicating professionally.
· Strong computer skills.
· Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, OneDrive, or similar software preferred.
· Ability to learn new software and processes quickly.
· Dependable and able to work independently.
· Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
· Previous administrative, office, executive assistant, or operations experience preferred.
· Construction experience is not required.
· Bookkeeping experience is not required.

Schedule
This is primarily an in-person position in Newnan, Georgia.
We are open to a full-time employee or a part-time candidate with the opportunity to grow into full-time.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
