Job Summary
We are hiring a Service Desk Associate to support our Front End Services area. In this role, you'll provide friendly, accurate customer service while handling returns, exchanges, and customer questions. You'll be part of a fast paced team focused on creating a great customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide excellent service at the service desk
- Process returns, exchanges, and refunds accurately
- Assist customers with concerns and help find solutions
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with professionalism and attention to detail
- Answer questions and direct customers to the right department or leader when needed.
- Maintaining a clean, organized service desk area.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries
Requirements
- Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred, especially in grocery or convenience stores
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse customers
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve a broader customer base effectively
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, making change, and balancing registers
- Knowledge of POS systems, retail math, and cash handling procedures preferred
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and proactive approach
- Supervising experience is advantageous for leadership opportunities within the team
