We are looking for full time kitchen/front of house manager with experience in barista or restaurant industry.

Twenty years ago, Ryan and Tyler McGill opened Summer Sessions Surf Shop on Rye Beach in order to support the New Hampshire surfing community.
We started NOA Cafe 3 years ago. It is a busy, community-focused café in Portsmouth known for quality coffee, fresh food, and a strong local following. We’re building a team that’s positive, efficient, and takes pride in what they do.
We’re now hiring a Café Manager to lead our team at NOA Cafe in downtown Portsmouth. Alexis our current manager is leaving to pursuit her dream of engineering diving. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads by example, and knows how to keep both the team and service running smoothly.
What you’ll do:
- Lead day-to-day operations (opening/closing, shift flow, service quality)
- Manage, train, and motivate a small, high-energy team
- Maintain strong customer experience and café standards
- Handle scheduling, inventory, and ordering
- working front and back of the house during shift to make sure everything is running !
What we’re looking for:
- 2+ years of café, restaurant, or hospitality management experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to stay calm and organized during high-volume shifts
- Barista or coffee knowledge is a big plus
- Reliable, proactive, and team-focused
