Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with a specialization in psychiatric care to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. The RN Psych will provide comprehensive mental health nursing services across various clinical settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and community-based programs. This role demands a compassionate approach combined with clinical expertise to support individuals experiencing behavioral health challenges, developmental disabilities, or complex psychiatric conditions
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including mental status examinations, vital signs, and physiological evaluations.
- Administer medications accurately, including psychotropic agents and other prescribed treatments such as botulinum toxin when applicable.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians, therapists, and families.
- Monitor patient responses to treatments, managing acute pain or behavioral crises effectively while maintaining safety protocols.
RN01
Required Qualifications:
- Min 2 years of RN-Psych experience required.
- New York RN License required
- BLS, ACLS, PALs and CPI/PMCS
