Position Summary
The Site Manager is responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of the property. This includes property management functions, tenant relations, rent collection, compliance, financial oversight, vendor coordination, and maintenance oversight.
The Site Manager works closely with on-site staff and external partners to ensure a safe, well-maintained, and supportive residential community.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee property operations, occupancy, and resident management.
- Interview prospective residents and coordinate move-ins.
- Collect rent and maintain accurate occupancy and financial records.
- Maintain compliance with housing regulations and prepare documentation for audits.
- Manage tenant relations and build positive relationships within the community.
- Coordinate vendors, contractors, and property services.
- Ensure the building and grounds are properly maintained.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans.
- Monitor property financial performance and assist with budgeting and financial tracking.
- Review and approve invoices and submit them for processing.
- Maintain accurate records in property management systems and tenant files.
- Coordinate resident meetings, community events, and staff functions.
- Enforce property rules, policies, and lease agreements.
- Issue notices (including 3-day, 10-day, and 30-day notices) and coordinate eviction processes when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and housing guidelines.
- Develop emergency and disaster response plans for the property.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
Minimum Qualifications
- Two (2) years of experience as a Property Manager at a multi-family housing property.
- Experience with affordable housing or permanent supportive housing preferred.
Mandatory Requirements

Driving Requirements
Driving is an essential function of this position. Candidates must:
- Have reliable transportation
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Maintain proof of insurance and vehicle ownership if using a personal vehicle for work duties
- Be able to qualify for the organization’s insurance coverage
