Job Description:
Building Engineer/Maintenance Tech for commercial, Class A office buildings and industrial/warehouse properties. Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing or arranging for the repair of all building operating systems. May be assigned to a single building or multiple buildings as the sole engineer along with a team of other engineers, property manager and property assistant.
- High school diploma.
- Minimum of 2-3 years previous building operations maintenance and/or engineering experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of HVAC, generator systems and energy management systems.
- General computer knowledge.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, positive approach to job and ability to handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently and make decisions.
Must have reliable transportation and be able to answer after hours emergencies.

Salary Range Language
The expected rate for this position ranges from $24 to $38 hourly. The actual hourly rate will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to the hourly rate and a competitive benefits package (including health, vision, and dental insurance, paid time off and a 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching), this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity,etc.)
