Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Truck Technician / Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team in Berlin, NJ. You will perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks while upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair engines, electrical systems, cooling systems, A/C, and other truck components
- Perform preventative maintenance services
- Conduct engine rebuilds and complex repairs with minimal supervision
- Accurately document repairs and communicate progress to shop management
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following all DOT, OSHA, and company safety guidelines
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience repairing light, medium, or heavy-duty trucks
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must own a complete set of hand and power tools
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ pounds and performing demanding work
- Valid driver’s license required (CDL preferred)
- ASE certifications a plus
