We are looking for a dedicated Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) to provide primary care services to our patients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering compassionate and patient-centered care while working collaboratively with our team of healthcare providers.
- Patient Assessment and Diagnosis:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
- Formulate accurate diagnoses based on clinical findings and medical knowledge.
- Treatment Planning and Management:
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the patient and the healthcare team.
- Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments and educate patients on their use.
- Patient Education:
- Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, preventive care, and treatment options.
- Promote health and wellness through patient counseling and health education.
- Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) for all patients.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to documentation.
- Collaborative Care:
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Refer patients to specialists as needed and coordinate their care.
- Quality Improvement:
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and care delivery processes.
- Stay current with evidence-based practice guidelines and incorporate them into clinical practice.
- Patient Advocacy:
- Advocate for patients’ needs and ensure their concerns are addressed.
- Promote a culture of patient safety and satisfaction.
- Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner (CNP) in the state of Nevada.
- Strong clinical skills, including the ability to independently assess, diagnose, and treat patients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
