Outpatient Licensed Provider
Mountain Comprehensive Care Center is hiring an Outpatient Licensed Provider to provide behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and adults. This position focuses on high-quality clinical care, accurate documentation, individualized treatment planning, and collaboration with internal teams and community partners.
Position Overview
The Outpatient Licensed Provider delivers assessment, therapy, treatment planning, care coordination, and clinical support in an outpatient behavioral health setting. This role requires strong clinical judgment, ethical practice, timely documentation, and the ability to work collaboratively to support client stability, functioning, and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities
The Outpatient Licensed Provider will:
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for children, adolescents, and adults.
- Develop diagnostic impressions based on client history, presenting concerns, symptoms, risk factors, and functional impairment.
- Provide individual and/or family therapy using evidence-based and clinically appropriate approaches.
- Develop, implement, review, and update individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment based on clinical need, client response, and best practices.
- Coordinate care with internal staff, external providers, schools, community agencies, and other supports as appropriate.
- Provide referrals, resources, and support to clients and families.
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with state, federal, payer, and organizational standards.
- Participate in team meetings, supervision, consultation, and required trainings.
- Support program-specific initiatives and services as assigned.
- Uphold ethical standards, professional boundaries, confidentiality, and quality-of-care expectations.
- Complete additional duties as assigned.
Additional Expectations
The Outpatient Licensed Provider is expected to:
- Maintain strong communication with supervisors and team members.
- Ensure appropriate coverage and continuity of care during absences.
- Follow all organizational policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines.
- Contribute to a team-based, client-centered treatment environment.
- Seek consultation or supervision as needed to support quality care.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a Master’s degree in Human Services: License required. LPCA, CSW, LPCC, LCSW, LMFT. Must have a valid Kentucky motor vehicle operator’s license.
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to evaluate needs of clients.
Knowledge of overall objectives and treatment concepts. Knowledge of rules, regulations, and laws pertaining to the care and treatment mental/behavior disorders and/or intellectually disabled. Good verbal and written skills; patience and flexibility. Ability to maintain accurate records and reports. Ability to communicate with others in a professional manner. An eclectic knowledge base.
