American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with acute care experience and an active WA license for a 13-week assignment at a Level III Trauma Center in Washington state.

Short-term acute care hospital setting at a Level III Trauma Center with 104 staffed beds
-
OT Acute Care unit with floating required between units and facilities within the state of Washington
-
Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
-
Weekend rotation required on a 6-week basis

Patient ratio of 1:10

Charting via Epic (required)
-
No parking fee on site
-
Scrubs of any color are acceptable
-
Active Washington state OT license required (license required if applicable)

Minimum 2 years of OT experience required

Acute care experience is a hard-stop requirement

Inpatient rehabilitation (IPR) experience strongly preferred

Epic EMR experience required

Current BLS certification required

At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting

SSN and DOB required for consideration

First-time travelers will be considered for this position

All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state of Washington; refusal to float may result in assignment termination

Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Minimal RTO is expected; time off requests should be disclosed upfront, as post-offer requests may be denied
