Q-Bit Wellness Pharmacy is a growing independent concierge pharmacy committed to providing personalized, patient-centered care. We work closely with physicians, assisted living communities, and patients to deliver exceptional pharmacy services through medication management, home delivery, medication synchronization, vaccinations, and clinical support.
We are looking for a licensed California Pharmacy Technician who is detail-oriented, compassionate, and enjoys building relationships with patients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to work in a supportive environment where quality of care comes before prescription volume.
Responsibilities
- Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Enter prescriptions and maintain patient profiles
- Communicate with patients, prescribers, and insurance companies
- Resolve insurance rejections and assist with prior authorizations
- Prepare medications for dispensing and home delivery
- Assist with medication synchronization and adherence programs
- Support blister packaging and other specialty pharmacy services
- Maintain inventory and assist with wholesaler ordering
- Answer phone calls and patient inquiries professionally
- Maintain compliance with California Board of Pharmacy regulations
Qualifications
- Active California Pharmacy Technician License (Required)
- Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Independent pharmacy experience and BestRx experience are a plus
Schedule
- Part-time
- Approximately 30 hours per week
- Flexible weekday schedule
- No weekends

- Strong understanding of state healthcare regulations, drug regulation policies, and pharmacy laws to ensure full compliance at all times.
- Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service while maintaining patient confidentiality in fast-paced settings.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is a plus; ongoing training in pharmaceutical regulations and medical terminology is encouraged to stay current with industry standards.
