Job description
Brenk Brothers Inc. is looking for a machinist to setup and/or operate 3, 4, or 5 axis milling machines.
Work Activities
Setup and/or operate 3, 4, and 5 axis milling machines.
Monitor machine operations and adjust if needed.
Read and follow work instructions, processes, and drawings.
Inspect products and record production data and document any non-conformity.
Notify others of equipment repair or maintenance needs.
Physical Demands
Employees in this position frequently stand, walk, and sit. They occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch. Employees must be able to reach with hands and arms and feel parts for defects and imperfections.
Employees in this role frequently lift 10 to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include the ability to adjust focus, see details at close range and distance, and ability to judge distances and spatial relationships.
Work Environment
The environment is fully temperature-controlled.
Qualifications
2 or more years of experience, or completion of related trade school program. Both less and more experienced machinists encouraged to apply!
Ability to set up and operate CNC milling machines.
Ability to read and understand work instructions, processes, drawings, setup sheets, and inspection plans.
Working understanding of GD&T and other machining concepts.
Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices. Experience working in a high precision (AS9100 or comparable) shop a plus.
Schedule, Pay, and Benefits
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 44 – 50 per week (Mon-Fri)
