Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in Washington (or willingness to obtain)
- Completion of WA ESA certification (or plan to obtain)
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience or interest in working in K-12 educational environments
- Fingerprinting through OSPI, or willingness to complete this process
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
- Commitment to on-site service during the 2026-2027 school year
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to K-12 students, focusing on individual development plans and IEP goals
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders
- Maintain accurate records and timely documentation in line with school and state requirements
- Communicate clearly with students, teachers, and families to support student progress
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate on program planning
- Stay current with best practices and professional standards in educational speech therapy
