Behavior Technician / Behavior Interventionist – School-Based | Burlington, VT | $27–$30/hr
ProCare Therapy is hiring a Behavior Technician / Behavior Interventionist for a school-based position in Burlington, Vermont. This role provides an opportunity to support students with behavioral and social-emotional needs while working alongside a collaborative team of educators and support professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct behavioral support to students in classroom and school settings
- Implement behavior intervention plans and positive behavior support strategies
- Assist students in achieving social, emotional, and behavioral goals
- Collect and document behavioral data and student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers
- Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with students with behavioral needs preferred
- School-based, ABA, mental health, or behavioral support experience is a plus
- Experience implementing behavior intervention strategies preferred
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Passion for supporting students and promoting positive outcomes
Compensation & Benefits:
- $27–$30/hr, based on experience and qualifications
