Customer Service & Sales
- Provide expert product knowledge including strains, consumption methods, dosing, and effects
- Recommend products based on customer preferences, needs, and regulations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment
- Resolve customer concerns with professionalism and accuracy
Compliance & Security
- Adhere to all Michigan CRA rules, state laws, and store policies
- Prevent diversion and unauthorized access to cannabis products
- Follow cash-handling procedures and maintain point-of-sale accuracy
- Report any suspected criminal activity, theft, or product loss immediately per state regulation
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age (legal requirement)
- Valid government-issued ID and ability to pass required background check
- Retail, customer service, or hospitality experience preferred
- Cannabis product knowledge strongly preferred
- Strong communication, active listening, and sales skills
- Ability to follow detailed regulatory procedures
Schedule & Work Conditions
From 3:00pm to close
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Fast-paced, high-compliance retail environment requiring focus and accuracy
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
