Tandoor & Tap is a locally owned Indian restaurant located in the middle of beautiful downtown Statesboro. We take pride in our exceptional dishes and our high standards of customer service and guest experience. Our atmosphere is casual upscale and a perfect place for any occasion.
What We Are Looking For:
Hosts/Food Runners
Guest experience is a priority for us and hosts are usually the first point of contact when you enter a restaurant. We are looking for new faces to join our family who possess high-quality customer service skills and positive attitudes!
Responsibilities:
· Greeting guests with a friendly disposition and welcoming demeanor as they enter.
· Managing waitlists, reservations, and seating arrangements.
· Accurately monitoring tables and communicating with servers to properly estimate wait times for guests and parties.
· Answering phone calls to assist guests effectively.
o Taking to-go orders & checking order accuracy.
o Taking payment information.
o Answering questions and taking detailed notes for callback requests.
o Gathering reservation information & large party/catering inquiries.
· Seating guests and engaging with them throughout the process to relay any important information about special occasions or first-time guests to the server.
· Being a team player! Cleaning & bussing tables to seat guests, running food, cleaning spills, setting tables, packaging to-go orders, etc.
· General cleaning, opening/closing duties, rolling silverware and folding napkins.

· Able to work well with others! Be a team player!
· Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift/carry trays of food.

Reliable transportation is REQUIRED!
Prior experience is preferred!
Lunch Shifts: Tuesday - Saturday 10:00AM to ~2:45PM
Sunday 11:30AM to ~3:30PM
Dinner Shifts: Tuesday - Saturday 4:00PM to ~10:30PM
Sunday 4:00PM to ~9:30PM
We are looking for Sunday availability and weekday lunch shifts (Tuesday through Friday)! Other shifts are available, but those are a priority.
