We will treat you well, with competitive salary and equity. You probably have a strong desire for ownership, so we can provide multiple options depending on your risk tolerance.

Two of the founding team are parents of young children, so we work at least 1 day a week remotely, and in general are quite flexible.

We've built Tandem in Electron / React, with Elixir for our back-end, and a custom audio-video transport layer using WebRTC. As one of our first engineers, you will:
Own large sectors of the codebase, and cover a wide variety of projects.
Translate Figma designs and prototypes into beautiful and functional UI.
Build, ship, and analyze features to test new hypotheses about human interaction and collaboration.
Shape our product direction by participating in UX interviews, roadmap planning, and feature brainstorms.
Help us grow the team by interviewing and coaching new hires.
