Now Hiring an experienced Bartender with Restaurant Experience! Have a passion for craft beverages, telling stories, & building community? We're looking for a friendly, energetic, and experienced person to join our bartending team!
Our bartenders will be responsible for the following:
- Pour craft beer/wine/cider/cocktails
- Educate customers on our menu and the winemaking process.
- Create and maintain a pleasant taproom environment (temperature, music, cleanliness, conduct). Be welcoming and engaging to customers.
- Arrive to work punctual and prepared.
- Credit card/cash handling.
- Ensure high-levels of service, quality and customer satisfaction. Interact with customers and vendors to develop and maintain a favorable public image.
- Assist with special events and team building opportunities.
- Handle kegs and a tap system.
- LEAD responsibilities could include training staff, cocktail menu design, and event management.
Personal & Professional Qualifications Include:
- Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays. (Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Year's Day). Must be available over the summer.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the hospitality/customer service industry.
- Exceptional skills in leadership, communication, organization, attention to detail, and customer service.
- Positive attitude and ability to work with a diverse set of people.
- Basic familiarity with tablet-based POS systems and Google office platforms like Docs and Sheets.
Education & Experience:
- Must be 21+ years old
- High School Degree or GED required
- Bartending or Restaurant experience required
- Must have reliable transportation
- Current TIPS or Alcohol Awareness Training preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Bartenders will likely be required to stand for extended periods of time.
- May be required to lift up to 60 lbs to move kegs and/or boxes with the help of a hand truck.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
