- 12-Hour Day Shifts | 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM | Rotating Schedule (Every Other Weekend)

At the Stokes County Jail, you’ll serve as the on-site clinical lead during your shift, guiding care delivery, ensuring quality standards, and being the steady, knowledgeable presence the team relies on. With a consistent partner working the opposite rotation, you’ll enjoy a structured, balanced schedule while maintaining ownership of your shift and patient outcomes.
This is a role for someone who thrives on autonomy, values organization, and takes pride in running a smooth, efficient operation—all while delivering compassionate care where it’s needed most.
What You’ll Do ✨

Provide direct patient care and clinical oversight during your shift

Coordinate medical services and ensure continuity of care

Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with policies and standards

Serve as the go-to clinical resource on-site

Collaborate with facility staff to support overall health services operations
What We’re Looking For

Active, unrestricted RN or LPN license in North Carolina

Previous correctional or leadership experience is a plus, but not required
-
Strong clinical judgment and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and confidently manage your shift
