Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the frontline representative assisting customers with their purchases and providing expert advice on products. The ideal candidate will be energetic, customer-focused, and knowledgeable about retail sales and product merchandising. This position offers an opportunity to engage with a diverse clientele while supporting the store’s daily operations.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products related to architectural paint products and supplies
- Provide detailed product information and recommendations based on customer needs
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions including cash handling and credit card processing
- Maintain organized merchandise displays
- Provide delivery services to our customers
- Handle cashiering duties with professionalism
- Support inventory management through stocking, receiving, and conducting regular stock counts
- Engage in effective communication with customers
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred
- Knowledge of architectural paint and paint supplies is advantageous
- Familiarity with POS systems and retail math for accurate transactions
- Strong communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus
- Organizational skills necessary for stocking, merchandising, and maintaining store cleanliness
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform cashiering duties confidently
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Retail sales: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver License and clean Motor Vehicle Record (Required)
