Position: Receptionist - Avalon Health Center
Schedule : 20 hours per week; Monday-Friday: 4pm-8pm
Pay: Starts at $18.00-$19.50/hour

We are looking for an energetic individual to join our team as a hospitality focused Receptionist.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Answers incoming calls, takes messages and relays messages using appropriate equipment.
- Assists the Director of Nursing Services, Administrator, Admissions Coordinator, and other administrative staff with clerical functions including meeting minutes, sending/receiving faxes, and other duties as assigned.
- Monitors the general appearance of common areas and public spaces ensuring that maintenance and housekeeping requests are prepared, and work completed.
- Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.
- Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
- Must possess a High School diploma or GED
- Experience working with seniors or in a health care setting preferred.
- Ability to communicate efficiently in English using proper grammar in a pleasant manner.
- Microsoft Office knowledge required.
- Must be able to handle a multiplicity of routine tasks, following specific instructions carefully and general instructions completely.
