HIRING A FLATBED DRIVER FOR A RELAY POSITION.
POSITION DRIVER 1 OF 3 LEG RELAY:
- Hiring CDL A driver for an 11am EST start (Driver 1) out of Potterville, MI
- Driver 1 is loaded in Potterville, MI (conestoga trailer) and will secure the load and drive to Dwight, IL
- Swap loaded trailer with an empty trailer that Driver 2 will be waiting with
- Driver 1 will communicate times with Driver 2 to ensure timely meet ups
- Driver 1 will return to Potterville, MI with empty and go home
- Plan up to a 12 hour shift
CDL A - Flatbed Driver Pay & Benefits:
- 100% Company Paid Health & Vision for you and your dependents (ZERO WEEKLY DEDUCTIONS FOR COVERAGE!!!)
- $1600/WK (IF YOU WORK M-F)
- $220/day + $500/wk on time show up pay = $1600.00

CDL A - Flatbed Driver Requirements:
If you can deliver the best possible service to our customers, please check the qualification list below
- No reckless driving, cell phone use or 15 mph or greater speeding violations in the last three years
- No positive or refusal or drug or alcohol test or DUI in the past 5 years
- No major chargeable accidents in the past 3 years while driving a commercial motor vehicle
- Current Class A Drivers License with 12 months of CDL A experience
- No pending charges
- Must be at least 23 years of age
- Other disqualifiers may apply

Responsibilities
- Safely operate flatbed tractor-trailers, adhering to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and compliance with safety regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports in accordance with company policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve issues promptly
Skills
- Valid CDL A license with flatbed experience preferred
- Knowledge of flatbed trailer operations, load securement
- Familiarity with GPS navigation tools and route planning for efficient time management
- Understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT requirements, and safety standards
- Strong driving skills with a focus on safety, hazard awareness, and compliance with traffic laws
