Goldstar Renovations & Handyman is a growing remodeling company specializing in residential repairs and renovations. We are looking for an experienced, dependable handyman who takes pride in quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Responsibilities
- Drywall installation, repairs, taping, bedding, and texturing
- Interior and exterior painting
- Trim, baseboards, crown molding, and finish carpentry
- Flooring installation (LVP, laminate, tile preferred)
- Door and window installation/repairs
- Cabinet installation and repairs
- General home repairs and maintenance
- Minor plumbing and electrical repairs (preferred)
- Demo and job site preparation
- Clean and organized job site at all times
- Communicate professionally with customers and supervisors
Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years of handyman or remodeling experience
- Experience using hand and power tools safely
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Reliable transportation to the shop or job site
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Must be dependable and arrive on time
- Must be able to work independently and with a team
- Must have excellent attention to detail
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) Preferred
Physical Requirements
Applicants must be able to safely perform the essential functions of the job, including:
- Frequently climb and work from ladders.
- Work on roofs, ceilings, attics, and elevated surfaces.
- Lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
- Bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and stand for extended periods.
- Work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Safely use power tools, ladders, and construction equipment.
- Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.
