Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. You will help maintain the integrity of financial data, facilitate accurate account reconciliations, and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization. Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger adjustments to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Assist with payroll for clients ensuring accurate processing of employee compensation and benefits.
- Prepare individual tax returns for clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or progress toward certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, Ceridian, or similar systems preferred.
- Experience with financial software like Microsoft Office Suite—especially Excel for data analysis—and familiarity with spreadsheets for detailed account analysis.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Excellent numeracy skills along with strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Effective communication skills for customer service-oriented interactions within the finance team and across departments.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
