Next Wave Property Management has a great opportunity for a leasing specialist to join our team in Spokane, WA. We are seeking a skilled, high-energy, patient, independent, ambitious individual with excellent people skills and thrive in a team environment.
As a leasing specialist, you are usually the first point of contact for our future residents. You welcome them to our community and provide them with all the necessary information about their prospective new home. As you show units to potential residents, you impress them with your knowledge of current market conditions and industry trends and guide them through the reasons why our apartments are a wonderful place to call home.
You will also help with new lease paperwork for the new tenants and help assist residents down the road when they have questions about their homes or need to submit a service request. You will help maintain record keeping, keep up with renewals, follow up on leads and assist with move-outs. With your friendly and warm nature, all prospective tenants will feel right at home.
You will be traveling to other sites so a valid drivers license and reliable transportation is required.
Highlighted Responsibilities:
* Provides current and prospective residents with the best possible customer service to retain residents and lease properties.
* Discover, engage and advance each prospect and follow up until they have set an appointment, found a home within our portfolio, or decided not to move.
* Display a high level of integrity and professionalism at all times in dealing with residents, prospects, employees, and outside contacts.
* Handle incoming sales by phone, email, and online chat.
* Provide information regarding specific communities as well as services offered with the goal of generating leases for the sites.
* Log all activity into company provided databases in a timely and accurate manner.
* Accurately communicate the benefits and features of the property portfolio.
* Stay up to date with all promotions/leasing incentives.
* Provide accurate information to residents and prospects in a courteous manner and fills all reasonable requests or requirements.
*Maintains company’s customer service and sales standards.
Qualifications:
* 1 year experience in apartment leasing
* High School Diploma
* Able to pass a criminal background and drug test
