WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Compassionately and professionally communicate with clients concerning their pet’s needs and the pet parent’s concerns
- Educate and communicate with clients concerning the importance of spay/neuter, well care, and parasite prevention
- Perform venipuncture, in-house cytology (ears, fecals, urinalysis), vaccinations, microchipping, nail trims and other preventive care services
- Utilize low stress handling techniques to ensure patient safety and comfort
- Accurately document medical records (we use eVet software)
- Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Part-Time (Detroit)
- $16 to $25 per hour based on experience, veterinary technician licensing status and ability to speak both Spanish and English.

Current Walk-in Wellness Hours: Thursday 3 pm - 7 pm, Friday 10 am - 3 pm, Saturday 10 am - 3 pm.
