About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and professional Dental Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at Palacin Dental ~ Smile Design Studio. As a cornerstone of our practice, you will be the first and last point of contact for our patients, embodying our commitment to exceptional care and service. The ideal candidate will be warm, organized, and have a passion for creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for every person who walks through our doors.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet patients and visitors, assisting them with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Manage a high volume of incoming calls with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette.
- Accurately perform insurance verification, manage patient accounts, and address billing inquiries.
- Maintain precise patient records and documentation in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Utilize our dental office management software to efficiently schedule appointments and manage the patient flow.
- Effectively communicate with patients regarding dental procedures, treatment plans, and appointment details.
- Support the clinical team by ensuring a smooth transition for patients from the front desk to the treatment room.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming front office area.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency is required to serve our diverse patient community.
- Proven experience in a dental or medical front desk role is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with dental office management software (experience with Dentrix is a significant plus).
- Strong understanding of insurance verification and patient billing.
- Exceptional organizational skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships with patients and staff.
- Ability to handle a variety of administrative tasks with efficiency and a positive attitude.
