A well-established nonprofit Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in coastal Massachusetts is seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join its integrated behavioral health team. This mission-driven organization provides comprehensive medical, behavioral health, dental, and supportive services to thousands of underserved patients throughout the region and is nationally recognized for its commitment to community-based healthcare.
This position offers an excellent balance of autonomy and collaboration. The selected provider will work closely with an experienced Behavioral Health Director, Psychiatrist, primary care providers, and integrated care teams while serving as the primary PMHNP at one community health center. The organization is seeking an experienced provider who is comfortable practicing independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary colleagues to deliver high-quality psychiatric care.
The PMHNP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with a wide range of psychiatric conditions, substance use disorders, and co-occurring mental health needs. Responsibilities include medication management, psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, consultation with primary care providers, participation in interdisciplinary case conferences, and collaboration with behavioral health and substance use treatment teams.
This is a Monday-Friday position with an excellent work-life balance, including no more than 32 clinical hours per week and a minimum of 8 hours of protected administrative time. Newly hired providers work onsite during their first six months before becoming eligible for a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications
- Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Active Massachusetts license (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum of two years of PMHNP experience preferred
- Ability to practice independently in an integrated behavioral health setting
- Passion for serving underserved and vulnerable patient populations
- Experience with substance use disorders and dual diagnosis preferred
Pay: $125,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year
