Join our dedicated team as a Best Life Coordinator (Job Coach / Direct Support Professional), where you'll play a vital role in empowering individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, and other unique challenges to live fulfilling, independent lives.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized support plans that promote independence and community participation.
- Provide direct support with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Assist with medication administration according to established protocols.
- Apply positive behavior support strategies to promote emotional well-being and independence.
- Facilitate skill-building activities tailored to each individual's strengths, interests, and goals.
- Support communication needs, including the use of American Sign Language (ASL) when applicable.
- Transport clients safely to appointments, work sites, recreational activities, and community outings.
- Collect and maintain accurate documentation regarding client progress, behaviors, and service outcomes.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to provide high-quality, person-centered services.
- Foster meaningful community involvement while encouraging confidence, independence, and personal growth.
Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or related support needs in home or community settings preferred.
- Understanding of behavioral health principles and positive behavior support techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for documentation and data collection.
