As our company continues to expand with newly acquired apartment communities, we're looking for dependable, hardworking Maintenance Technicians to join our team. If you have apartment maintenance experience and enjoy keeping communities running smoothly, we'd love to hear from you.
Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician assists with the day-to-day maintenance operations of the community by completing service requests, preparing apartments for new residents, performing preventative maintenance, and helping maintain a clean, safe, and attractive property.
Qualifications
Required:
- 1–3 years of apartment maintenance or related maintenance experience
- EPA Certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire)
- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems
- Experience with plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance repairs
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work indoors and outdoors
Preferred Experience
- Apartment maintenance
- HVAC preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting
- Plumbing repairs such as faucets, disposals, drains, and toilets
- Basic electrical repairs including outlets, switches, fixtures, and breakers
- Appliance repair
- Drywall repair, painting, caulking, and minor carpentry
- Apartment make-readies and unit turns
Responsibilities
- Complete resident maintenance requests efficiently and professionally
- Assist with apartment turns and move-in readiness
- Perform preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment
- Help maintain community grounds and common areas
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls during scheduled on-call rotations
- Work closely with the maintenance team to provide excellent resident service

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
