Position Details:
Job Title: General Labor – Foundry
Location: Grand Rapids
Pay Rate: $19/hour
Shift Options:
- 1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
- 3rd Shift: 7:00 PM – 3:30 AM
Start Date: Immediate openings available
Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance upon hire
What You’ll Do:
Assist with general foundry production and manufacturing operations
Load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility
Operate basic production equipment and hand tools safely
Grind, clean, inspect, and finish castings as needed
Follow all safety procedures and production standards
Work in a hot, fast-paced industrial environment
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
Qualifications & Skills:
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently
Strong attention to safety and quality standards
Effective communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable and punctual attendance
Comfortable working in hot temperatures and around industrial equipment
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous foundry, manufacturing, warehouse, or general labor experience
Experience operating hand tools or production equipment
High school diploma or equivalent
