About This Role
Love photography, writing, and keeping things organized? Peter Corvallis Productions — Portland's event rental company since 1959 — is looking for a part-time Digital Assets Coordinator to help us show off our inventory online. You'll own two core things: keeping our WordPress website stocked with great photos, sharp descriptions, and competitive pricing — and keeping our ALERT rental software up to date with accurate inventory records. It's a varied, hands-on role with real ownership over how customers experience our brand.
What You'll Do
WordPress Website
- Add new products with compelling, SEO-friendly descriptions and titles
- Photograph new rental items and edit photos for web use
- Research competitor pricing to keep our rates sharp
- Build and maintain product pages with accurate details, dimensions, and categories
- QA links, images, and listings regularly
ALERT Rental Software
- Enter new inventory with complete pricing and descriptions
- Update records as products, pricing, or quantities change
- Keep the website and ALERT catalog in sync
Plus
- Manage organized Dropbox archives of photos and marketing files
- Design graphics, promotional flyers, and event handouts as needed
- Send a monthly email newsletter to clients (content provided by management)
- Create and schedule social media content following our posting calendar
What We're Looking For
Required
- WordPress experience — comfortable creating and editing product pages
- Photo editing skills (Photoshop, Lightroom, Canva, or similar)
- Strong writing skills — you can describe a product clearly and enticingly
- Google Suite proficiency (Drive, Docs, Sheets)
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge
- Highly detail-oriented and self-directed
Nice to Have
- Experience with ALERT or other rental/POS software (big plus!)
- SEO experience or knowledge of product listing optimization
- Background in event production, hospitality, or prop styling
- Email marketing experience (Mailchimp or similar)
- Adobe Illustrator or InDesign skills
- 2+ years in marketing, digital content, or graphic design
- Portfolio of photography or design work
