Pay is $17.20 per hour.
Schedule 4:30 AM - 3:30 PM Mon, Tues, Fri you will alternate between Thurs and Saturdays
Holiday work will be required sometimes. Must be willing to help with different days and hrs. as needed.

Must be able to understand labels, read recipes, follow instructions, and communicate effectively.
MUST HAVE 6 MONTHS WORK HISTORY in the last 12 months documented within your application’s work history and/or resume. Can be a combination of employers as long as it is within the past 12 months or your application will not be reviewed.
MUST PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS TASKED BY ADMINISTRATION.
MUST BE SAFE AND OBSERVE ALL OF TYSONS POLICIES AND PROCEDURES.
THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THIS POSITION INCLUDE: (but are not limited to)
1. Must be able to work in damp/warm conditions.
2. Must be able to lift/push 40 plus pounds.
3. Must be able to perform other jobs as requested by management at both hatcheries.
4. Must always ensure safety and be responsible for keeping work area free of clutter
and/or tripping hazard and always organized.
5. Must be able to perform machine checks such as, follow instructions and document findings
6. Must be able to start generators, and complete some maintenance on machines when issues arise
7. Must be able to communicate with management and maintenance when issues arise
8. Must be able to complete task independently some shifts may require you to work alone
REQUIRMENTS OF THE JOB
1.Must be able to pull chicks, grade chicks, breakouts, washing trays and machines, moving buggies, cleaning, place chickens in the houses, mix vaccine, dispense formaldehyde, run embrex machines which will work various hours and days, also help tray, and set eggs.
2.Must be able to stand duration of shift. (Usually, 10 hours with two unpaid 30-minute breaks).
3.Bending, twisting, and turning body from side to side to see and keep up product in work area.
4. Must have good hand/eye coordination.
5. Includes lifting, pulling, pushing, squatting, climbing, bending, reaching, rolling buggies
6. Must be able to obtain lockout tagout certification, pallet jack and moffett license
III. TYPES OF EQUIPMENT/PPE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION.
1. Gloves provided (if desired), Water/skid proof footwear, electric Hand Jack
3. Wear PPE ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair bonnet and beard guard. (If desired).
4. Must wear respirator when dispensing formaldehyde (no beard (older than 24 hours) and if wear mustache must be cropped at corners of mouth).
