Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday - 0600-1830 (12-hour shifts) Pay: $45 - $55/hour

Colfax Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dependable Weekend Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated team. As a Weekend RN, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive the highest quality clinical care while supporting staff, collaborating with physicians, and creating positive experiences for residents and their families.
What You'll Do:

Provide Exceptional Resident Care

Deliver high-quality nursing care that promotes resident comfort, dignity, and well-being.

Assess resident conditions and respond appropriately to changes in health status.

Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans.

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations.

Supervise nursing staff and provide clinical guidance throughout your shift.

Foster teamwork and maintain a positive, resident-centered culture.

Serve as a key resource for staff, residents, and families.

Safely prepare, administer, and document medications and treatments.
-
Monitor resident responses and promptly communicate concerns or adverse reactions.

Maintain accurate narcotic records and medication documentation.

Coordinate pharmaceutical orders and physician communications.

Complete accurate and timely assessments, progress notes, physician orders, care plans, and clinical documentation.

Communicate effectively with physicians regarding resident needs and treatment plans.

Keep residents and families informed while providing exceptional customer service and support.

Take immediate action during emergencies and acute changes in resident condition.

Direct and perform CPR and other emergency interventions as needed.

Use sound nursing judgment to ensure resident safety and optimal outcomes.

Requirements:
Qualifications
Education
Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing. BSN preferred.
Licenses/Certification
Current RN Licensure in the State employed.
Valid CPR Certification.
Experience
Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
