Job Description
Principal at Waldron Jr. Sr. High School. This is a 220 day contract. The position will work with students and staff in 6th - 12th grade.

Establish building vision & culture

Serve as instructional leader for the building

Support daily managerial and operational tasks assigned by superintendent

Supervise student body throughout the school day and assist with after school activities supervision
-
Investigate and address disciplinary issues in accordance with student handbook
-
Monitor student attendance and address truancy issues in collaboration with SRO and student support staff
-
Evaluate school personnel
-
Monitor, track, and conference with families and students concerning placement in 504 and special ed. program.

Assist with state reporting as assigned

Oversee random student drug testing program
-
Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
-
Successful classroom teaching experience
-
Valid Indiana Administrators License
-
Preference given to candidates with successful administrative experience in a school setting.
