Position Summary
The Tier 1 IT Support Technician is responsible for providing first-level technical support to our managed service clients. You'll troubleshoot a variety of hardware, software, Microsoft 365, and networking issues while delivering an outstanding customer experience.
This position is ideal for someone with 1–2 years of IT support experience who wants to continue developing their technical skills and build a long-term career in managed services and cybersecurity.
Responsibilities
- Provide remote and onsite technical support for Windows desktops and laptops.
- Troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft Office, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, printers, and common business applications.
- Create and manage user accounts in Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Configure new computers and migrate user profiles.
- Install and configure hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
- Assist with basic networking issues including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
- Document all work accurately within our ticketing system.
- Escalate complex issues to senior engineers as needed.
- Follow company security policies and IT best practices.
- Deliver professional, courteous, and timely customer service.
QualificationsRequired
- 1–2 years of professional IT support experience.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications.
- Experience supporting:
- Windows 10/11
- Microsoft 365
- Microsoft Entra ID
- Active Directory
- Basic networking
- Remote support tools
- Experience working for an MSP is a plus.

Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Full-time (40 hours per week)
- Occasional after-hours or onsite work may be required.
