We are currently seeking a reliable, organized, and customer-focused Front Desk Medical Receptionist/Secretary to join our team. This position requires flexibility and the ability to travel between our Bronx, Manhattan, and Queens locations based on business needs.
Responsibilities

Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.

Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments.

Answer and direct incoming phone calls.

Register new patients and verify demographic and insurance information.

Collect copayments and maintain accurate payment records.

Verify insurance eligibility and obtain authorizations when needed.

Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
-
Coordinate communication between patients, therapists, physicians, and insurance companies.

Scan, upload, and organize medical documentation.
-
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.

Perform general administrative and clerical duties.

Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining patient confidentiality (HIPAA compliance).

Float between Theradynamics clinic locations in the Bronx, Manhattan, and Queens as operational needs require.
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Previous medical front desk or healthcare administrative experience preferred.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is strongly preferred.

Must be dependable, punctual, and professional.

Must be willing and able to travel between Bronx, Manhattan, and Queens clinic locations as needed.
