Travel Pay: $3,140.74 - $3,489.72 weekly
Job Summary
Evaluate and treat patients requiring physical therapy services in a healthcare rehabilitation setting. Develop individualized plans of care, provide therapeutic interventions, educate patients and caregivers, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to improve mobility, function, and safety.
Job Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Current California Physical Therapist license required.
- Current BLS/CPR certification as required by the assignment.
- Recent physical therapy experience appropriate to the assigned setting.
- Strong assessment, treatment planning, documentation, communication, and patient-care skills.
- Ability to work the listed shift and schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform physical therapy evaluations and establish individualized treatment plans and functional goals.
- Provide therapeutic exercise, mobility training, functional activities, and other appropriate interventions.
- Monitor patient response to treatment and modify the plan of care as needed.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding exercises, safety, mobility, and continued care.
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
