As a Surgery Registered Nurse (RN) at Memorial, you’ll be part of a high-performing perioperative team delivering safe, precise, and compassionate surgical care. From pre-op through recovery, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring every patient receives seamless, high-quality care throughout their surgical experience.
This is a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment where your clinical expertise, critical thinking, and attention to detail directly support exceptional surgical outcomes. You’ll supervise care delivery, coordinate individualized plans of care, and provide education and reassurance to patients and families every step of the way.

This role also includes on-call responsibilities, with the ability to return to the facility within 30 minutes when called in.
What You’ll Do
- Provide skilled perioperative nursing care across surgical services
- Supervise and coordinate patient care throughout the surgical experience
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
- Ensure patient safety and maintain high standards in the OR environment
- Support and educate patients and families before and after surgery
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team
What You Bring
Required:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or a compact licensure state
Preferred:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) (required to obtain per BSN policy)
- CPR – Provider C certification
